She wants me to live with her throughout her last few days of life before she succumbs to cancer. She said I can then have the house after, along with everything she ever had in life. Since this is her final request, I am quitting my job as soon as she finds a house for us. I’m allowing her to choose by herself because it seems like it is something she has always wanted to do. Without kids to worry about, she can get the house she has always dreamed of. It’s such a sad process, but we will get through it together.
